These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Voice iT apps and website (the “Service”), provided by Voice iT (“we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
The Service
Voice iT lets you record or upload audio and generates transcripts, summaries and related features using AI. AI output may contain errors and should not be relied upon as professional advice — please review important results.
Recording and consent
You are solely responsible for the audio you record or upload and for complying with all applicable laws, including obtaining any consent required to record other people. Do not record where you do not have the right to do so.
Your content
You retain ownership of the audio and content you provide and the notes you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including transcription and summarization). We claim no ownership of your content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others;
- record or upload content you do not have the right to, or that is illegal, harmful or abusive;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- resell or misuse the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
- Voice iT offers a free tier and paid plans (billed monthly or yearly), plus optional one-time minute packs.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals and cancellations are managed through your store account under that store’s terms.
- One-time minute packs are consumable and non-refundable once used, except where required by law.
- Prices may change; we will give notice of changes to recurring prices before they take effect.
App stores
If you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms, and Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where relevant. The app stores are not responsible for the Service or these Terms.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by Voice iT and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to the Service except as needed to use it as intended.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that transcripts or summaries will be accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voice iT will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Voice iT harmless from claims arising out of your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Voice iT is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
